Updates from Principal Poletti

3/27 Yay!  Our hard work and planning have paid off.  virtualWEST begins for real on 3/30.  Thanks for your partnership in getting us to the starting gate in excellent shape.  The two weeks since "bricks-and-mortar" school ended will not set us too far back.  Since exams have been waived, we have those two weeks at the end of the year to compensate.  We have contingencies for Prom and Sr Picnic.  But the reality is a lot of traditional year-end celebrations will not occur or will look much different. It's really too early for definites.  Time will tell....
3/22: We are moving forward on Mar 23 with on-line review and enrichment in all classes.  Mainly to keep us connected and to improve our on-line processes.  You might have about 30-45 mins of work per class each day in the beginning.  Our staff will continue to reach out and call students who may need support.  We have to remain competitive with our private and charter school peers who are already fully immersed in on on-line school models.
