Welcome to West Carteret High School! This site provides access to information and resources for military families about our school system, educational information, school transition, deployment support, community resources and more. BeThere Peer Support Assistance Line:

The BeThere Peer Assistance Line is the only dedicated, confidential, Department of Defense (DoD) peer support call and outreach center available to all all DoD Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve Service members and their families (including non-DEERs registered family members). The program is staffed by peer coaches who are Veteran Service members, spouses of prior Service members, as well as National Guard/Reserve Service members. Communications between peer counselors and Service members are confidential and the Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through chat, email, phone and text.
The Peer Assistance Line offers peer-to-peer support services, which include the following issues:

Service members who have contacted the DoD BeThere Peer Support. Call and Outreach Center will receive follow up communications from peer counselors to ensure appropriate services were provided.

FOCUS


FOCUS (Families Over Coming Under Stress) provides resilience training to military children, families, and couples. It teaches practical skills to help families and couples overcome common challenges related to a military life. It helps build on current strengths and teach new strategies to enhance communication and problem solving, goal setting and creating a shared family story.
