About West Side Story

West Side Story is a West Carteret High School publication created by the Newspaper and Creative Writing Club. We give students the opportunity to write about their passions and interests outside the confines of a classroom. Students in and out of Newspaper Club have the opportunity to submit their creative writing through the QR code outside of Room 601, and we welcome new members year-round. Through the club, our writers publish articles that feature student art, interviews, book/movie/TV recommendations, and community events.
